The actions are created in CS4, but should work in all CS versions, and CS5 in 32bit mode.

I have have purchased both the Hipstamatic actions. I love what they do but I am having problems with both when I apply the film actions in that with the first action the borders only show on the top and left edges. With the second plugin the border repeats itself across the image. I have followed the instructions you include so do you have any idea why this might be the case? I am using CS4.

The only reason I can think of for having this problem is that you don’t optimise the image properly. You have to start with the action “MUST!!!-Prepare the image”. After the first stop where you have to crop your image 1:1 (square), you have to push again the play button. This resize your image to 1936x1936px. Once you have the proper size, go forth with the LENS and than FILM actions.

Hope this help you to resolve the problem.

Hello! Beautiful actions but I am also having a problem. I followed the instructions on cs5 as indicated but after I run the action on the image, the border never shows up and it says paint bucket tool not available. The actions show up, but not the border. What could be wrong?

      Hello Misty,
the only problem I could think off, is that you run the action in 64bit mode. If you give me more info about the issue, I can resolve it.

    Hi Jana,

I am having the same issue as Misty Burton.
“Could not use the paint bucket because no pattern has been defined.”
Also I run CS5 in 32-bit and I have followed the instructions(cropping..) properly.

    What am I doing wrong?
